Yoga

Yoga is a traditional spiritual and practical system that originated in India in 3000 BC. The very term yoga means union, concord, and tight junction.

Yoga consists of asanas (exercises). Asanas are not gymnastic or acrobatic movements. Asana is a state where you can physically and mentally stay calm, comfortable, and stable for a long time. Asanas are performed to develop the ability to sit in the same position for an extended period (such as during meditation). Many asanas got their names from animals like cat, fish, and tiger.

Yoga offers several benefits for the same goal – better physical health and well-being through the unity of mind and body.

There are many types of yoga. All yoga styles can help balance your body, mind, and spirit, but they do so in different ways.
